At the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, science and research are carried out by the institutes with their more than 50 departments, the Center for Livestock Technology, the Center for Organic Farming, University of Hohenheim. The Agricultural Experimental Station and the direct proximity to the State Institutes open up excellent opportunities for national and international agricultural research.
The University of Hohenheim occupies top positions in the acquisition of research funds from the German Research Foundation in the field of agricultural sciences as well as in international rankings, for example the "Best Global Universities Ranking".
