Center for Livestock Technology (308)

The Center for Livestock Technology develops innovative methods and solutions for animal husbandry systems. It takes into account general requirements such as animal welfare, environmental compatibility, efficient management and product quality. Specific aspects such as precise feeding, ventilation, health monitoring and environmental protection measures are also considered.

Center for Organic Farming, University of Hohenheim (309)

Organic farming plays a prominent role in research and teaching at the University of Hohenheim. Teaching and research, in line with the idea of the organism and its interdisciplinary nature, are not covered by one single institute but are rather coordinated and organized by the Center for Organic Farming.

Agricultural Experimental Station (400)

The Agricultural Experimental Station is one of the University of Hohenheim’s research laboratories and educational institutions. Scientists, primarily from agricultural sciences, engineering, and ecology, use the various stations at 6 locations to carry out research projects with plants outdoors and with livestock.

Teaching Garden

The teaching garden is used for self-study by students and is used for exercises and visits accompanying lectures. Interested visitors can get an overview of the diversity of agricultural crops.
