Doctorate at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences

At the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, about 60 aspiring scientists receive their doctorate degrees in agricultural sciences (Doctor scientiarum agriculturae - Dr. sc. agr.) every year. In addition, the well-structured doctoral degree program with its 9 research training groups accompanies the completion of the dissertation and improves the quality and attractiveness of this higher scientific education at Hohenheim.

The prerequisites for acceptance into the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences as a doctoral candidate are above-average grades in the master degree or its equivalent in agricultural sciences or related fields and a minimum 4 years study at a university.
