Graduation Ceremony 2019

On November 22, 2019 the annual graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the University of Hohenheim took place.

More than140 graduates of the M.Sc. programs of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, of which more than 50% were students from abroad, proudly received their degree certificate in the Audimax. This is the highest number of participants for this event since it was introduced more than 10 years ago.  

The program of the evening consisted of speeches of the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Ralf Vögele, of the second Dean of Studies, Prof. Dr. Regina Birner, as well as addresses of Svenja Klose, a graduate of the M.Sc. program Bioeconomy, and Diana Jaime Acevedo from Colombia, a graduate of the M.Sc. program Agricultural Economics. The two bioeconomy students Diana Luna Bemsel from Mexico and Svenja Klose provided the musical accompaniment.

The audience included proud family members, friends and fellow students of the graduates, as well as professors and other members of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences.

Afterwards the faculty invited the graduates and their guests to a champagne reception in the castle.

The evening ended with a party in the TMS, organized by the Agricultural Student Council.

 

The Faculty of Agricultural Sciences congratulates its alumni on their successful graduation and wishes them all the best and much success for their professional and private future!
